The meeting begins with a public hearing for the Riverbrook Estates Zoning Amendment Bylaw which has been taking place at the last three Council Meetings.
Under presentation, Staff Sergeant McLaren will be presenting the January RCMP Report to Council.
After approving Minutes, Councillor Mary Murphy has a motion to write to several parties concerning the challenges of the Better at Home Program in Kitimat and how the program is under funded and unsustainable. In addition, to have the District work with agencies to ensure the program continues.
After this motion, there are three readings for a Local Government Act Reference Update Bylaw and two Readings for Riverbrook Estates.
Under Reports, West Coast Amusements is requesting use of public land for the carnival. There is a report on Council Meeting Rebroadcasts and the Statement of Accounts for December and January.
