Kitimat City Council meets tonight, Monday, December 7th, for a Regular Meeting of Council in their Council Chambers in Northwest Community College at 7:30 Pm.

The meeting is set to begin with a Funding Request from the Hirsch Creek Golf and Winter Club. Council is also scheduled to be introduced to the SHECANA International Exchange Students.

After approving minutes, Council moves into bylaws. Three readings for the Leisure Service Fee and Changes Amendment Bylaw, 3 readings for the 2016 Anticipation Borrowing Bylaw and adoption of the LNG Canada G6-A & M1 Zoning Bylaw.

There are six reports. The first is the request for funding from the Hirsch Creek Golf and Winter Club. It is followed by the appointment of an auditor, the election of the Regional District Director and Alternate, the 2015 to 2018 strategic plan, a report on the municipal walkway maintenance program and mandatory overtime at the Kitimat Smelter.

Council will approve three Advisory Committee Minutes and provide Mayor and Council Reports.
