On Friday, November 27th, the Kitimat Museum and Archives opened their Annual Christmas Gift Store with an opening reception. The museum is selling crafts made by talented local residents and some from out of town.

“They are crafts like paintings, ceramics and photography and knitting and quilting and clothing and tonnes,” said Museum Curator Louise Avery. “We have a woman who makes mittens and gloves and slippers out of moose hide.”

The Gift Store will run until December 24th of December, from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday from noon to 4.
