Kitimat City Council meets tonight, Monday, November 16th at 7:30 Pm, in the Council Chambers at Northwest Community College. There are four presentations scheduled.

The first is from Cheryl Rumley and the Rotary Club of Kitimat talking about the Light up Kitimat event. Jack Oviatt and John Pozsgay each will be presenting separately on the proposed sand, gravel and rock quarry near Cable Car. Finally, Leonard Kerkhoff will be presenting on a rezoning application for Riverbrook Estates.

After approving minutes, Council goes into reports. The first two reports deal with items from the presentations, the proposed borrow pit and Riverbrook Estates. There is a report on Temporary Worker Policies and a report on the reinstatement of the National Long Form Census. The Final Report is the Statement of Accounts for October.

Following the meat of the meeting, Council delivers reports on their activities in the community.
