Halloween is coming up and the District of Kitimat is holding the annual Halloween Howl on Sunday, October 25th at 2:00 pm with the family pumpkin carving event. Families will have to sign up at Riverlodge and purchase a pumpkin for the pumpkin carving.
“Following on the heels of that is our spook-tacular event which will include kids coming in costume and doing different games and activities in the gym at Riverlodge and at the conclusion of that will be at 6:45ish, a fireworks demonstration for the kids and families to come and take part in at the Riverlodge,” said Shaun O’Neill.
The Halloween Howl will be running from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm for the younger kids with the lights on. From 4 pm to 6:30 pm, it will be open to all ages. Entrance to the event is free with a donation to the food bank.
