This coming Sunday, October 18th, the 36th Aluminium City Telethon will hit the stage at the Mount Elizabeth Theatre. This year’s theme is ‘Thanks for Giving.’

“The Telethon will go live at 11:00 Am and finish at 9:00 pm,” said Jean Nidd. “There will be lots of local talent being shown on stage and we’ll have food, lots of different venders in the cafeteria for people to come and share.”

In addition there is the Kidzone from 12-4 and the grade 12 car wash. Some of the acts auditioning for this year’s telethon include Robert Capezzuto, Kitimat Karate Club, the Kitimat Dynamic Gymnastics Club, the Art Lucier Band and Swampwater.

Hosting the Telethon this year is Michelle Wakita. The telethon will be airing on Citywest, Cable ten and will be streamed on the Citywest Website.
