Kitimat City Council Meets tonight, Tuesday, August 4th for their Regular Meeting of Council. The meeting starts at 7:30 pm at the Council Chambers at Northwest Community College.

There is one presentation on the agenda. Nichola Wade, Executive Director of Intergovernmental Relations and Planning Branch for the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development has an update on the Northwest Community Readiness.

Councillor Rob Goffinet has a motion to send a letter to Queen Elizabeth to congratulate her on being the longest reigning monarch in modern times and commemorate Thursday, September 9th with a brief ceremony in Centennial Park.

For bylaws, there is the bylaw to make changes to the Leisure Service Fees in September. Finally, there is a report on the Crossroads offsite works and services advising Council not to have the District take ownership of the sanitary sewers for that project.
