Kitimat General Hospital Foundation receives donation from the Masonic Kitimat Lodge #169
The Kitimat General Hospital Foundation (KGHF) was the recipient of a $2,000 donation presented by members of the Masonic Kitimat Lodge #169, at the Mason’s Dinner at the Royal Canadian Legion on March 27, 2015.
Ron Burnett, spokesperson for the Mason’s, said “the success of the Friday night Steak Dinners at the Royal Canadian Legion is in large part due to the assistance and cooperation of the Kitselas Lodge #123 and the Kitimat Dynamics Gymnastic Club. It is the collaboration between organizations that benefits the entire community.” In this case, it’s the Royal Canadian Legion, the Kitimat Masonic Lodge, the Kitselas Masonic Lodge, the Kitimat Dynamics Gymnastic Club and the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation which all contribute in their way to make our community a better place.
Corinne Scott, Chairperson of the KGHF, stated “the funds received from the Mason’s will be put towards providing ten (10) state-of-the-art IV Infusion pumps for Kitimat General Hospital. The support received from the Mason’s and others in the community to ensure we have the best healthcare possible, is very heartwarming.”
Members of the Kitimat Masons, Kitselas Masons, Kitimat Dynamics Gym Club and Kitimat General Hospital Foundation, were on hand at the presentation on Friday evening.
