THIS NOTICE INCLUDES INFORMATION ON THE ADDITION OF SHUTTLE BUS PICK UP AT CABLE CAR. PLEASE REVIEW FUTURE UPDATES ON THE BC OPERATION EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION FACEBOOK PAGE. THIS BUS SERVICE WILL CONTINUE UNTILL NOTIFICATION OF IT BEING CANCELLED.

This notice includes information on shuttle bus pick up at Cable Car now as well. Please review future updates at the BC Operations Emergency Notification Facebook page.

For Rio Tinto Alcan employees. Shuttle bus service to/from BC Operations now includes a stop in Cable Car.

Rio Tinto Alcan has arranged shuttle bus service to pick up any stranded BC Ops employees that are unable to leave their street due to snow. The routes and times are as follows:

The shuttles (2 per shift change) will start from either the Catholic Church (next to Saint Anthony’s school) or Cable Car (entrance post office boxes). Pick up times will be 5h30 and 5h45 in the morning and 17h30 and 17h45 in the evening. This shuttle service will run until Monday.
Pick up points included in the route are:
Cable Car
Catholic Church
High School
KVI
Roy Wilcox school
Cormorant school
Tony’s corner store
City center lower mall parking lot
Kildala School
Riverlodge

The shuttles will pick-up employees along that route and drop them off at A-Gate. After drop off, the shuttles will then take the outgoing crew back to town by going over the same route in reverse.
