Musical performances included a dance number by Dance Kitimat, the song “Reindeer are Better Then People” sung by Robert Capazzuto and Jamie Marcial sang “Let it Go” with Trevor Harness on Piano. A story based on the movie was read by Dave Durrant.
“[The students] quite enjoyed [preparing for the concert]. We had many hours involved. Many extra rehearsals, early mornings, late afternoons, we had much to do,” said Band Teacher, Courtney Preyser.
Opinions vary over which is the best song from the movie. Preyser liked ‘For the First Time in Forever,’ while Nancy Jane Harness and Dave Durrant enjoyed ‘In Summer’ and enjoyed
The event also doubled as a fundraiser, entrance was by donation but people who gave more than $10 would be entered to win a book or one of two plush characters.
