Kitimat City Council meets tonight, Monday, December 15th for their Regular Meeting of Council. The agenda is jam packed for mid December and it all happens tonight at 7:30 Pm in the Council Chambers.
There are six presentations scheduled. The First of which comes from Staff Sergeant Phil Harrison with his Monthly Policing Report. Then comes a presentation on the Robinson Ridge Cabin from Chad Fournier. Robin Lapointe and Steve Haggard will present on Hirsch Creek Golf and Winter Club.
After that come presentation from Denis Vincent and Dan Condon on the Alexander and Nalabila Housing Project and two presentations from Leonard Kerkhoff, one with Brent Robinson and Jake Duncan on the Haisla Town Centre and one on Riverbrook Estates.
After approving minutes, there are four bylaw readings. The first bylaw is the 2nd reading of Riverbrook Estates, then comes 3 readings for the 2015 Revenue Anticipation Borrowing Bylaw, 1st reading for the Nalabila Zoning Amendment Bylaw and 1st Reading of the Haisla Town Centre OCP and Zoning Bylaw.
There are 6 reports. The first is a recommended consultation and public hearing date for the Haisla Town Centre. There is a grant request for the Kitimat Boxing Club. There is a report on the Hudons’s Hopes Referral of proposed site C Dam Project to the BC Utilities Commission.
The final three reports are the LNG Canada Environmental Assessment, Housing Action Work Plan, and the Statement of Accounts for November, 2014.
There are the approval of Commission and Committee Minutes for LSAC and the Housing Committee and Council Reports.
