REPORTING · 13th December 2014
It’s time to break out your binoculars, cameras, notepads and pencils as the Annual Christmas Bird Count will be taking place on Sunday, December the 14th.
“The Kitimat Annual Christmas Bird Council will be Sunday, December the 14th and we would like all the people who are enthusiastic about counting birds to count birds for us. Our Circle goes from the municipal dump to the edge of the village for anyone who is out in the water. It is done from dawn to dusk on Sunday, December the 14th,” said April McLeod.
There are forms available at the museum for anyone who would like to pick them up. All the data will be entered into the national data base after the count.
