Rio Tinto Alcan employees had fun dropping their favorite managers in a dunk tank at the recent RTA 60th Anniversary celebrations.
Gaby Poirier, General Manager Kitimat Operations, was prepared wearing his snorkel gear and ended up being the Ďwinnerí receiving the most baths. Martin (the Gold Man) Gaumont, Manager of Reduction ensured he didnít get wet in his full-coverage latex bodysuit. Dennis Meyer, Manager of Casting, formally dressed, looked like it was just another day in the office. Patrice Bergeron, Director of BC Operations was prepared in his summer best swim shorts and T shirt and seemed to enjoy every minute of the unexpected dunks.
The Kitimat General Hospital Foundation (KGHF) was the beneficiary of these good sports, as the four of them raised over $1500.
The funds will be used towards the purchase of IV Infusion pumps as well as portion to be used for a Donor Recognition wall at Kitimat General Hospital.
