35 years ago, in August 1979, Wendy Kraft started working at the Envision Financial Credit Union. On Friday, August 15th, she celebrated her 35th anniversary with the Credit Union.
“I had just got married and they had an ad on the radio for someone to come in and work at the credit union so I came in and got the job,” said Bank Manager Kraft.
A lot of has changed at the bank over the past thirty five years, at the time Kraft started working there, the Credit Union was in the building where Vitality Spa is now.
“It’s gone by in the blink of an eye. It’s gone by very fast so I went from old school banking right through to the introduction of computers, bank machines, ATM machines and all sorts of different changes,” said Kraft.
She told us banking is a great career. “You get to help people and you meet a lot of great people along the way,” said Kraft. “It’s been very fulfilling.”

It is such a pleasure to go into the Credit Union and receive the BEST and friendliest service from all the staff. This is a reflection of Wendy herself, great leaders inspire others, and Wendy is an inspiration to all who have met her. Wendy's dedication to the Credit Union and the community as a whole is above and beyond most individuals, and it is a pleasure to congratulate her on a job well done.
