Kitimat RCMP
Kitimat Detachment responded to 100 calls for service during this period. Some of which are as follows:

On Wednesday June 25th 2014 at 1:50 am, an officer with the Kitimat RCMP observed a vehicle drifting side to side while driving in the left lane on Hailsa Blvd near Kingfisher Ave. The officer conducted a vehicle stop and the driver displayed numerous signs of impairment. The driver blew 2 fails into an approved screening device roadside. The driver a 26 year old male from Vancouver received a 90 day driving prohibition and a 30 day vehicle impound.

On Wednesday June 25th 2014 at 2:45 am, an officer with the Kitimat RCMP stopped a vehicle in the area of Columbia Ave East. The driver displayed gross symptoms of impairment. The driver failed to provide a suitable sample of breath into an approved screening device roadside. The driver a 33 year old male from Nanaimo received a 90 day driving prohibition and a 30 day vehicle impound.

On Wednesday June 25th 2014 at 10:30 pm, an officer with the Kitimat RCMP observed a vehicle make an erratic left turn from Haisla Blvd onto Lahakas Blvd. The officer conducted a vehicle stop and observed symptoms of impairment. The driver blew 2 fails into an approved screening device roadside. The driver a 52 year old male from Kitimat received a 90 day driving prohibition and a 30 day vehicle impound.

On Wednesday June 25th at 11:50 pm, the Kitimat RCMP received a complaint of someone throwing beer cans out of a vehicle being driven around the Kitamaat Village. Police located the vehicle and the driver was found to be a prohibited driver stemming from an incident on May 2nd 2014 when he received a 90 day driving prohibition. The driver a 38 year old male from Kitamaat Village will be appearing in court in August.

On Thursday June 26th 2014 at 6:00 pm, the Kitimat RCMP received a report of a yearling grizzly bear in the back yard of a residence on Wakita St. Police attended and the bear retreated into the woods. Police consulted with Conservation Officers and warned neighbours.

On Friday June 27th 2014 at 2:30 pm, the Kitimat RCMP received a complaint of a missing dog from a residence on Skeena St. The male dog is an eight month old tan coloured American Blue Nose pit bull with a white chest. The Kitimat RCMP are continuing to investigate.

On Friday June 27th 2014 at 3:15 pm, the Kitimat RCMP responded to assistance in locating a male at the KMP camp. The complainant stated that his son-in-law had not been to work for three days and there was no answer on his phone. The house keepers checked the males room and his belongings were there. While police were investigating the complainant called back to report that his son-in-law had just called and he has been staying off site for three days as he had been sick.

On Saturday June 28th 2014 at 2:30 pm, the Kitimat RCMP received a report of an overturned pontoon boat on the Kitimat river. The male had been able swim to shore after coming across the log jam in the area of the Wedeene River. The male was treated at Kitimat General Hospital. The Kitimat RCMP are urging those using the Kitimat River to be aware of the potential for log jams and to use life jackets while on watercraft.

On Sunday June 29th 2014 at 10:30 am , the Kitimat RCMP responded to a complaint of a disturbance in the parking lot of the Kitimat General Hospital. Upon attendance a taxi driver reported that a male became upset after he was advised he would have to pay for a taxi ride. The male who did not have any money caused damage to the taxi. The male a 22 year old resident of Kitimat faces charges of mischief under $5,000.

To women that have been rape report it even some males have been rape drug raped tennages and their father rapes their husband rapes their wife know they have have theses rapest will rape again I know I was raped for months by many drugged me one my boyfriend works with neighbors I reported them breaking in and rapingi didn't even know they knew who the were as I do i the neighbor knew they watch for them as embassesing hard these guys have to be catch do the right thing if it was your sister or friend or wife you report them and catch them god bless the ones that do have courage To prayers god Bess
