The 'pounding' in Strawberry Meadows is for the PTI camp.

The land next to the chamber of commerce is for the Crossroads Project- a hotel development along with a 1000 man camp in behind

The land behind Margetts is called the Kingfisher development- proposed to be 40 3 storey townhouses.

Every one of these developments has been done at public meetings and all have been televised at one time or another.

The only 'closed meeting' project is the old hospital lands and a public announcement will be made Tuesday regarding this. It had to be 'closed' in the past as it is a land negotiation issue.

Hope this helps.
Phil.
"What"s happening?"
Comment by CEM on 11th June 2014
What is happening with all the pounding in the camp by Strawberry Meadows ?

What is happening with the land next to the Chamber of Commerce ?

What is happening with the old hospital area ?

Why are the people of Kitimat not kept in tune of all the latest?

What is happening with the land behind Margett Street ?

We hear all these rumours but we need to hear from Mayor and Council, do they have a right to have all these closed meetings ?

We the people of Kitimat voted the Mayor and Council and they have all these closed meetings and we never really hear what is going on ?
