Monday, May 26th:
The Kitimat Supper Club is having a dinner at the First Baptist Church from 5 pm to 7 pm. Everyone is welcome. It is a free meal provided by volunteers. If you would like to volunteer please contact them at kitimatcsc,,,gmail.com.
Kitimat City Council meets for a Committee of the Whole Meeting of Council at 7:30. There are two presenters from Douglas Channel Watch, a presentation on the sidewalks and the annual report from the Visitor’s Centre.
Tuesday, May 27th:
Soup & Sandwich Lunch ,,, the Seniors' Centre. This is always a great time to come and check out the Centre and all it has to offer Seniors' in our community. Join us for a delicious, hot bowl of soup made by our dedicated volunteers. This includes a sandwich, beverage and dessert! Bring a friend, a family member or come and join us on your own. Friday, May 30th:
HEALTHY BABIES DROP IN is held every Thursday from 10am-12pm at the Kitimat Child Development Center. We welcome families throughout pregnancy and up to 1 year (older siblings welcome). Come meet other parents and infants over light refreshments with support from the CDC staff and a Public Health Nurse. For more information call 250-632-3144. At 7:30 pm, there will be a celebration of the Arts at the Mount Elizabeth Theatre. The celebration will feature local talent in Dance, Spoken Word and Musical Performances. Tickets are available at the Kitimat Museum and Archives.
Saturday, May 31st:
Relay for Life will be held for the 15th time in Kitimat on Saturday May 31st, from 10 AM to 10 PM, at the Mount Elizabeth High School Track. You have up to May 15th to register this year; www.relayforlife.ca/kitimat
