The Kinsmen Club of Kitimat held their Second Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19th. Many children came out to participate in the hunt. The Easter Bunny was present and, thanks to all the sponsors, there were lots of prizes.

“We’re going to guide the kids outside, the air horn is going to go and it’s going to be a free for all,” said Christine Dielschneider. “We’ve got one section for the littler kids from 3-6 and then the 7-11 year olds are in a different section.”

At noon, the children were led out into the fields behind Riverlodge which were roped off for the event. A rainbow of eggs had been distributed in each area. Some eggs contained treats, some eggs contained prizes and some eggs were empty.

The children had lots of fun and the event was well executed. Dielschneider thanked all the sponsors of the hunt.
