REPORTING · 24th April 2014

Kitimat City High participated in the District of Kitimat's Spring Clean-up program this year by cleaning the gully between the school and Gyrfalcon Park. Students spent the morning scouring the bush along the sidewalk and cleaning up the field surrounding the park area. The most interesting finds included a rusty waterlogged table, an office chair, and a control panel for some sort of an appliance. There was so much garbage, volunteers had to make two trips to haul it all back to the school for disposal. It was a great way to enjoy some Spring weather and participate in a bit of community spirit.
Good Work...well done

We thank you for your effort. Also spotted the Grade 3 class from the elementary school cleaning up the walkway between Columbus and Okanagan. Thank you all.
