The following events and holidays are coming up this week.

Monday, April 21st:

Tuesday, April 22nd:

Kitimat City Council Meets at 7:30 PM At their Council Chambers at the College. Schedualed are an update from Coastal Gas Link Pipelines, Council’s Position on the Plebiscite and an update on the Hazardous Waste event.

We were informed there is a stop the shut down of Kitimat City High meeting at the Royal Canadian Legion at 7:00 Pm.

Wednesday, April 23rd

Kitimat Minor Softaball Association will be holding Registration on April 23, 2014 and April 30, 2014 from 5-7pm at Riverlodge. Ages 5-8 will be $60 and ages 9-19 will be $75. We will only be accepting cash or cheque. Registration needs to be in place before your child will be able to start. During this time, we will be having our first practices of the year in the gym. Ages 5-12 will be in the gym from 5-6pm and ages 13-19 will be in the gym from 6-7pm. Please make sure your child has their own glove, indoor running shoes and water bottle. (copied from Calendar)

Thursday, April 24th

In celebration of Earth Day in the month of April, the Kitimat Seniors' Centre will be going on a bird watching adventure with Walter Thorne & April Macleod, to Minette Bay and Maggie Point. At this time of year, we will be viewing the spring bird migration and this makes for fantastic bird watching opportunities! Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Please be advised that you may be walking on uneven ground at times. 10:00am. Meet at the Kitimat Seniors Centre. No Cost. Must sign up in advance – call the Centre 632-3405 (Copied from Calendar).

Friday, April 25th

Bring your favorite stuffed animal for games, treats and stories to the Kitimat Public Library. ! For little ones and their bears! April 25th at Registration is required! Come in or call us at 250-632-8985. 10:30 - 11:15 AM (Copied from Calendar).
