There is a Regular Meeting of Council scheduled for Tuesday, April 22nd at 7:30 Pm. The agenda is long so be ready for a long one.

There are four presentations to Council. The first comes from Greg Cano, the Project Manager of Coastal Gas Link Pipeline. The second is Staff Sergeant Phil Harrison’s Monthly Policing report for March. Ken Maitland from Kitimat Understanding the Environment will talk about the Residential Hazardous Waste Event. Finally, Joyce Dean will invite Council to a mental Health Forum.

There are two motions for the meeting. One of them concerns the Council Position on Enbridge. The other is to find out the status of the Kitimat Air Shed Impact Assessment Project.

Under Bylaws, there is the second reading of the zoning amendment for Kingfisher and an Animal Control Amendment.

There are 8 reports. The hazardous waste event, a grant request for the 2014 works invitational, and a grant request for the Kitimat Dynamics Gymnastics Club are the first reports. They are followed by a Development permit for Wedeen Street, City Centre Motel Signage and Riverbank Camping. The final two reports are for the Transit Annual Operating agreements and the Cancellation of the May 20th Regular Meeting of Council.
