REPORTING · 6th April 2014
Walter McFarlane
The Kitimat Public Library Spring Break Activities wrapped up on Friday, March 28th with operation Egg Drop. Children were hard at work creating methods of dropping eggs without them breaking. While not all of the contraptions were successful, everyone had fun.

“The two weeks were great. We were really busy, we had an event almost every day. The numbers were great, we almost had 30 kids per event,” said Marieve Lanthier.

Her favourite was silly science, where they mixed colours, did absorption experiments. The parents expressed they enjoyed having Spring Break activities for their children to participate in and Lanthier told us some of the parents enjoyed the activities more than the kids.

If you missed any of these events, future events at the library include a teddy bear picnic and creating optical illusion crafts, both on April 25. Call the library for further details at 632-8958.
