The following events and holidays are coming up this week.

All Week:

The Kitimat Public Library is holding spring break events. Register at 250-632-8985 for any of the following. Lego Creations, Villain Crafts, Scavenger Hunt and Operation Egg Drop . Check the community Calendar for dates and times or go to the Library Calendar by clicking here

Monday, March 24th:

Kitimat City Council holds their Committee of the Whole Meeting. Topics of interest include sewer charges for vessels used as accommodations, an update on Kids First and a public hearing on M1 Manufacturing Zone Amendment Bylaw.

Tuesday March 25th

Join us for a delicious, hot bowl of soup made by our dedicated volunteers. This includes a sandwich, beverage and dessert! Bring a friend, a family member or come and join us on your own.
Guest Speakers to follow on Problem Gambling – what can you do to help others? or help yourself?
Everyone Welcome!! It takes place at 12 noon at the Kitimat Seniors Centre, $6 per person and sign up in advance, call the Centre 632-3405 (copied from Calendar).

Saturday, March 29th:

The Multicultural Potluck Dinner will be taking place at the Luso Hall. Get your tickets at the Kitimat Museum and Archive.

Author Arno Kopecky, a Vancouver based journalist and travel writer will be in Kitimat at Riverlodge on March 29th at 7:00 Pm. He will be there to tell stories and share images about BC’s Great Bear Rainforest.
