COMMENTARY · 24th March 2014
One of the events which I look forward to every year is coming up this weekend, March 29th at the Royal Canadian Luso Hall. The event combines food, family, music and culture from around the world, The Annual Multicultural Potluck Dinner put on by the Kitimat Multicultural Society.
This year, the Kitimat Multicultural Society turns 38. Tickets can be purchased at the Kitimat Museum and Archives for $3, and everyone is encouraged to bring a dish from their cultural heritage. We were told by Raymond Raj tickets will disappear quicker and quicker as the week progresses.
“It’s always a great event,” said Mayor Joanne Monaghan at the Regular Meeting of Council on March 27th.
