Kitimat City Council Meets tonight, Monday March 17th for a regular meeting of Council at North West Community College at 7:30 Pm.

First on the agenda is the policing report with Staff Sergeant Phil Harrison. Following him is Barb Hall and Ken Maitland from KUTE, talking about a Residential Hazardous Waste Event. Finally, Murray Minchin is presenting on the topic of the Official Launch of the Douglas Channel Watch “Vote No! on the Enbridge Plebiscite Campaign.

Under reports, there are three development permit applications. One for the view point apartments, one for 100 Stikine street and one for the PTI lodge on Loganberry. There is a application for a development permit as a part of the Downtown Revitalization Area for the M Hotel in City Centre.

The next report is on Kitimat Webmapping. It is followed by fees and charges to Hirsch Creek Park, a Travel Grant Request for Kitimat Dynamic Gymnastics and a community Grant Request for the Multicultural Potluck Dinner. Finally, there is the Statement of Accounts.
