The following events and holidays are coming up this week.

Monday, March 10th:

Kitimat City Council holds a Committee of the Whole Meeting. On the Agenda is Enbridge on Community Investments and Skills Training in Kitimat, Shaun O'Neill on playground replacement and affordable housing options.

Tuesday, March 11th

C.O.S.C.O. Presentation: FRAUD & SCAMS This workshop investigates the ways in which people are taken in by schemers whose sole purpose is to rob them of their money or possessions. Seniors are frequent victims, and need to be aware of how to protect themselves. 1:00pm at the Seniors’ Centre. No cost. Please register at the Centre (Copied from Calendar)

Wednesday, March 12:

Afternoon Tea with the Arts. Please join us for a practice recital for Speech Arts and Piano Students in our community. These talented young artists will be sharing their pieces that they will be performing at the Pacific Northwest Music Festival towards the end of the March. Chevron is having an open house on the Kitimat LNG Project from 4 to 8 pm at Riverlodge Reaction Centre.

Thursday, March 13th

BC Hydro is having an open house from 5 - 8 pm at the Riverlodge Recreation Centre on replacing the Transmission Lines Between Terrace and Kitimat.

Friday, March 14th:

Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art Student Exhibition at the Kitimat Museum and Archives from 6 until 8.

Saturday, March 15th:

St Patrick's Day Pot Luck Dinner. Yipeee! It’s time for our annual St. Patrick’s Day Potluck Dinner. Join us Saturday, March 15th, ,,, 6:00pm at the Senior's Centre.
