Tim Horton’s Sponsors Kitimat General Hospital Foundation with their ‘Smile Cookie’ campaign
Tim Horton’s held their first ‘Smile Cookie’ campaign in Kitimat in September, 2013. All funds raised from the campaign have been designated for the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation’s (KGHF) Portable Ultrasound Machine Project.
Members of KGHF were on hand on Thursday, February 27th to receive a cheque in the amount of $1098 from the owner of the Kitimat Tim Horton’s, Devin Archibald. Corey Cotter, Manager and Julie Mavros, Assistant Manager of Kitimat Tim Horton’s presented the cheque to Corinne Scott, Chair, Doug Thomson, Vice Chair and Margaret Sanou, Director of the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation.
Devin Archibald, owner of Tim Horton’s stated “this was the first year of the Smile Cookie Campaign in Kitimat, and we are happy to support the Kitimat Hospital Foundation with the proceeds. We look forward to an even larger campaign in September 2014.”
Chairperson, Corinne Scott stated “the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation is grateful for the contribution from Tim Horton’s towards the Portable Ultrasound Machine and looks forward to assisting with promoting the 2014 Smile Cookie Campaign in September. It is ongoing contributions such as this that benefit health care for all the residents in Kitimat.”
