The following events and holidays are coming up this week.

Check out the A Janela art exhibit at the Kitimat Museum and Archives.

Monday, February 17th

Kitimat City Council Meets for their regular meeting at the Council Chambers in Northwest Community College at 7:30. Some of the highlights of the meeting will be a presentation from Enbridge on Leak Detection and a presentation from Don Read about the renovations planned for the viewpoint apartments.

Wednesday, February 19th:

Douglas Channel Watch will be hosting it’s first Annual General Meeting. It will include a showing of the film, Revolution by award winning biologist, photographer, conservationist and film maker, Rob Stewart. The meeting will be held at Riverlodge and starts at 6:30.

Kitimat Community Services will be having their AGM at Mountainview Square from 8-9 pm.

Thursday, February 20th

Winterfest 2014 Kick off Social takes place from 7-9 at Rosarios. Admission is free and it includes live music with Bill Volrath.

Friday, February 21st:

Barefoot Caravan will bet taking place at the Luso Hall on Friday February 21st at 8:30 pm. Entrance by donation.

Saturday, February 22nd:

FREE Workshops For Tenants Presented by Stacey Tyers - Poverty Law Advocate, Courtesy of TDCSS and the Law Foundation of BC. 10 am to 3 pm, lunch will be provided. PLEASE REGISTER TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT. The Winterfest Brunch takes place at Riverlodge at noon. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for kids and can be purchased at Pyramid Office Supplies or the Kitimat Public Library.
