REPORTING · 13th February 2014

The Kitimat Public Library was busy on Family Day, Monday, February 10th. The day started with story time. Afterwards, Children of all ages came to play with the libraries growing collection of Lego and build for an hour.

“This morning, we had story time, we have story time every Monday at 11:30 in the morning, and we have a [group] of kids come and we have puppets and songs and silly rhymes,” said Marieve Lanthier, Children’s Programmer at the Library. “Then, we came into the program room, we had about 30 kids play with all our Lego.”

While there was no competition for the children, they just came in and used their imagination to guide them. Later in the day, the children returned for Crazy Crafts, with a theme of Valentine’s Day Crafts and Cards.
