Kitimat Hospital Foundation
A Portable Ultrasound Machine for the Emergency Room at Kitimat General Hospital is getting closer to reality.

The Kitimat General Hospital Foundation (KGHF) was the recipient of a $500 donation from Bonny Dioron, President, and the members of the Kitimat Seniors Citizens Associations, Branch #129 to put towards the purchase of a portable ultrasound machine for Kitimat General Hospital Emergency Department.

Donations received from businesses, community organizations, and residents have raised over 60% of the goal of $50,000 towards the purchase of this much needed equipment in the Emergency Room at the Kitimat General Hospital.

Chairperson, Corinne Scott stated, “We are very pleased with the support received from the Kitimat Seniors’ Citizens Association, and their recognition of how this piece of equipment will benefit all residents in the Kitimat General Hospital Area.

The Kitimat General Hospital Foundation is a Volunteer group of people that dedicated to ensuring that Kitimat’s Health care services meet the need of the community and provide immediate benefit to the patients.”
