Nathan Cullen was in Kitimat on Monday, January 20th to hold a workshop so people could better understand their taxes and how to save money.

Leota Sommerfeld, Owner and Operator of H&R Block in Kitimat was also present to help out. She expressed prior to the workshop that people do not pay attention to their taxes.

“They just automatically assume that Revenue Canada, if they send them a statement, that Revenue Canada has it right,” said Sommerfeld. “If they want a second opinion on anything, come and talk to us at the office, that’s all free. We don’t charge anybody anything for that. If they have a question, we’ll be more than happy to help people out with it, again no charge.”
