The Kitimat Hospital Foundation held their Christmas Coffee House on Wednesday, December 4th. The lobby of the Hospital was filled with Christmas cheer and the sounds of music.
“The Northern Health and Kitimat Hospital are providing Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate and Baking complimentary. We are providing entertainment from 10:30 in the morning until 4:00. Different entertainment every half hour and we’re also doing fundraising for a portable ultrasound machine,” said Corinne Scott.
People can make donations to this cause at the hospital or there are pamphlets around town explaining how donations can be picked up or mailed to Kitimat General Hospital Foundations.
Also, while supplies last, the Foundation has limited edition Christmas Ornaments that everybody will receive as a part of a $25 donation and a $20 tax receipt.
