REPORTING · 6th November 2013

The 41st Annual Christmas Craft Fair took place at Riverlodge on Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd. The recreation centre was packed full of crafters, businesses and many more. Venders came from as far away as from Houston BC.

“We have 133 venders in this fair this time which is probably the most we’ve had since I’ve been doing the fair, since 2005,” said Marcy Rice. “We haven’t got any more space for anyone.”

Crafts ranged across the board. From homemade clothes, photography, woodwork, preserves, deserts, soaps, quilts, glassworks, jewelry and much, much more. They were a little lower on food venders however.

“It’s been steady which is awesome and the Venders have done really well. We had about 850 on Friday night and that’s not including the venders and the volunteers,” said Rice.

Rice thanked all the volunteers who helped out, the venders who traveled from out of town, the Gymnastics club and the Swim Club.
