Local high school students at Mount Elizabeth are making plans to go to Costa Rica in 2014. About 20 students and teachers are traveling to Costa Rica and they are working diligently in fundraising. On Sunday, September 29th, they were flipping burgers at the Riverside Clean up.

“This Spring Break, we’re going to Costa Rica. It’s an EF Tour, an educational tour. We’re going to be going all around Costa Rica, we’re going to be there for ten days,” Said Andrea Saunders-Crouch.

Planned activities include Zip Lining, visiting a Sloth Sanctuary, Hiking up an active Volcano, White water rafting and several biology tours. While they do not have a fundraising goal, they are trying to raise as much as they can in order to reduce the amount each student has to pay. Each of them is paying $3000 so they more they raise, the better it goes.

Anyone who has any fundraising opportunities can get in touch with John Sorenson at Mount Elizabeth High School. They would like to thank the community for supporting them so far.
