Riverlodge held it’s summer Wind-Up party at the Tamitik Arena on Friday, August 16th. The foyer of the Tamitik was packed with young children and their parents who were participating in many different games and activities.

“It’s our year end wind-up, but we still have the summer’s not over programs, it’s the end of our main programs, we have a big party at the end of the year,” said Paige Gould.

Activities at the summer wind-up included Face Paint, bubbles, paper airplanes, the mummy wrap and a fish pond. As a part of the wind-up, kids could get into the pool for a toonie.

Linda Horianopoulos told us the kids and summer students had an awesome time in the summer programs and they all went off without a hitch.

When asked what the most popular program was, Horianopoulos replied: “I Scream For Ice Cream. There were ice cream tosses, ice cream fights, ice cream sundaes, making their own ice cream. I guess kids really like ice cream,” said Horianopoulos.
