Kitimat City Council does not meet tonight due to the Statutory Holiday. Instead, they will be holding their regular meeting of Council at the College at 7:30 on Tuesday, August 6th.
The are no scheduled presentations to Council. Instead, there is a motion concerning the committees for Affordable Housing and Persons with disabilities by Mayor Joanne Monaghan.
Under Bylaws, there is the 2nd reading for the parking of recreation vehicles in residence areas, 3rd reading for the spay neuter and microchip incentive, 3rd reading for records management bylaw and 1st and 2nd reading for strata conversion.
There are 6 reports. These include a travel grant request for the under 16 Western Fast Pitch Championships, A temporary use permi8t for the Kitimat Dynamics Gymnastics club, a Temporary Building Permit Extension for Glacier Concrete and a Development Variance Permit Application for Loganberry and Blackberry for a fence. The other two reports concern the Municipal Alcohol Policy and an application for a Tenure Over Crown land for the Landfill.
