REPORTING · 5th July 2013
The Summer of Adventure is once again being put on by the Kitimat Museum and Archives. The Summer Students have been hard at work planning the actives and fun. The programs run from July 8th until August 16th.
“We’re surging a lot of things up this year and our space is nice and decorated,” said Desiree Earl. “We have some new tours. We’re going to do a tour of the hospital this year and our activities are changing.”
Activities have been broken down into several themed weeks. They have weeks involving Imagination Station, Craftastic, Heroes and Heroines, Blast from the Past and Let’s Get Outside. A lot is planned for the last week including a trip to Alcan Beach and Radley Park. They will be doing lots of tours as part of Heroes and Heroines Week.
