It’s Canada Day and there are lots of different activities going on throughout the day. From 8:00 – 11:00 am, the Kitimat Humane Society will be hosting Breakfast at the Upper City Centre Parking Lot.

The Kinsmen Club of Kitimat parade begins at Noon. It will leave Mountainview Square and will travel to Riverlodge. This year’s theme is Pioneer Days: 1953.

The stage show at Riverlodge runs from 1:00-6:00 pm and 8:00-11:00 pm. The Food Venders will be there as well and don’t miss the cake handed out by the Girl Guides. The Fireworks will take place at 11:00 pm.

The 10th annual Show and Shine will be at the Tamitik Arena from 1:00-4:00. Admission is $2. There is a free public swim at the Sam Lindsay Aquatic Centre from 6:00-9:00 pm.

Finally, the Busses are free from 10:00 am -6:00 pm.
