Warehouse One in Kitimat placed number one for British Columbia in the Purolator Tackle Hunger Campaign. According to Tammy Maxfield, their store outpaced the rest of the participating stores in British Columbia.
“We were the number 1 store in all of British Columbia, we collected 699 pounds of food. We collected $149 in money,” said Maxfield. I would love to absolutely thank the wonderful people of Kitimat for their generosity and for all their food and donations and I think that their generosity this year was just fabulous.”
She stated although they are a new store, they have earned the bragging rights.
