Warehouse One in Kitimat is participating in the Purolator Tackle Hunger Campaign which is taking place from June 3rd to June 9th. 2013 marks the 11th year this program has taking place.
“Customers of Purolator work together to raise food and funds for the local food banks. Overall, the Purolator Tackle Hunger Program has raised the equivalent of 5.5 million pounds of food since 2003,” said Tammy Maxfield, Store Manager.
They are looking for Kitimat residents to donate non-perishable food and money. 100% of the donations will go to the local Food Bank, the Food Share Program and the Food Bank which is located in Kitamaat Village.
