REPORTING · 9th May 2013
Walter McFarlane
It was a beautiful day for the reopening of the Kitimat Public Market on Sunday, May 5th. The turnout was excellent and the venders included Swallow Haven Farms from Smithers selling fresh meat, candies, baby clothes made from Alpaca wool, glass works and many other groups.

Food venders included the Dragon Café, East Indian Society and several food trucks. There were also two garage sales.

The turnout was pretty good throughout the day. “I just hope that it continues to be a success. It’s a lot of people out,” said Elizabeth MacDonald. “We’ll be back next week and the week after. Sunday, 10 am we open, come on down.”
