REPORTING · 17th April 2013
April is Daffodil Month. The Canadian Cancer Society in Kitimat was selling daffodils in the lower part of Kitimat City Centre Mall the weekend of Friday, April 5th.
“April 27th is National Daffodil Day when everybody’s encouraged to wear their pins,” said Margaret Ferns. “The Daffodil is the symbol of courage for those who are fighting cancer, for those who have survived and unfortunately, to help remember those who didn’t make it through their battle.”
