Colby Vilness shows off a basket full of brightly coloured eggs.

Children flocked into Riverlodge to take part in the First Annual Kinsmen Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday March 30th. Children were divided into two age groups and then unleashed upon a field full of colourful hollow eggs which, when popped open, revealed prizes inside.

Several of the eggs contained tickets for door prizes. Also, three bikes, which were donated by Viking construction, were drawn for.

Being the first such event, there were a few hi-coughs. A handful of the kids were unable to reach an egg during the hunt. However, due the generosity of the other children, they did not go home empty handed.

According to the parents, all of the children had fun and are looking forward to next year.
