Kitimat City Council meets tonight, Tuesday, April 2nd in the City Council Chambers in the Public Safety Building at 7:30 pm for their Regular Meeting of Council. There are four presentations scheduled and two of them come from the same person.
The first speaker is Cameron Orr representing the Kitimat 60th Anniversary Committee. He is followed by Tom Goyert on the topic of Unresolved Issues. The final presenter is Jack Oviatt, who wishes to speak on two topics. The first is PTI and the second is Bull-O-Rama.
Councillor Mario Feldhoff has a motion to set aside $200,000 from the reserves for social purposes.
There are three bylaws. 3rd reading for the Forest Hills Amendment Bylaw, adoption of the Strawberry Meadows Amendment Bylaw, and 3 Readings to the Animal Control Amendment Bylaw.
Under reports, there is a report on a sponsorship request for the 5th annual Bull-O-Rama, a report on the public meeting concerning worker accommodation, and two license of Operation, one for the patio for the Kitimat Hotel and one for the Chalet.
