George Gaspar
St. Anthony's School's, David Leite & Brendan Gaspar win the Northwest Science & Innovation Society's "Gold" in the Grade 6/7 category and "Best Overall" award in this year's science fair, for their project on crystal formation in Rock Candy. They made mint, fennel (black licorice), banana, strawberry cherry, almond, brandy & vanilla flavoured candy in numerous colours. They worked diligently for 3 weeks on this project which turned out to be very rewarding. The boy's also won 1st place in the St. Anthony's School Science Fair.

The perks for doing this project... they get to eat the candy!
