The Kitimat City Council meets tonight, Monday October 1st at 7:30 Pm at the Public Safety Building.
There are three presentations scheduled. The first is by Rosella Norman, Coordinator of Kitimat Hospice Palliative Care Association with an invitation for Council. The Second is Margaret Warcup and Trish Parsons who will be addressing Council on a Welcoming Committee Grant support. The final presentation is by Debbie Tulk, who is requesting to use Riverlodge for a Cancer Fundraiser.
Under Motions, there is a motion from Councillor Mario Feldhoff concerning a Residential Cardboard Ban.
There are 7 reports. The first is the 2011 Annual Report. Three of which are temporary building permits to build a storage facility, gym and shelter at the Kitimat Modernization Project Construction Village. The list also includes a Temporary Industrial use permit for JHW Construction, Development Permit for Kitimat LNG and a Temporary Commercial Use Permit for a Pet Grooming business on Albatross Street.
There are two communications, one regards the Welcoming Grant Support, the other relates to using Riverlodge as a Cancer Fundraiser.
