Kitimat Council Meets tonight, Monday, September 17th for their regular meeting of Council at the Council Chambers in the Public Safety Building. There is quite an agenda for tonight with many presentations.

The first presentation of the night comes from Staff Sergeant Steve Corp and his Monthly Policing Report. Following him is Captain Robert Buller who wishes to address Council about getting the Sea Cadet Hall Back from the District.

Murray Minchin is speaking about recent seismic information, Reg Chamberlain is presenting concerning a petition about the Hospital Beach and Boat Launch. Dr. Greg Halseth is coming before Council concerning a study he is doing on Social and Economical Transformations. Finally, Luis Teves will be talking about Kitimat Issues.

There is one motion. Councillor Mary Murphy is making a motion regarding asking Staff to lobby the Government so Cablecar could have a wider entrance.

Reports starts with the appointment of Warren Waycheshen as Deputy Administrative Officer for the District of Kitimat. There is a Development Permit Application for Supervalu Signage and a Temporary Industrial Use Permit for All West Trading. The report section of the meeting ends with A financial statement from 2011 and the Statement of Accounts from August.

Finally, under communications, there is a letter from Buller about sea cadets.
