Live music and classic cars were outside the A&W at Kitimat on Saturday, July 21st for their first annual Customer Appreciation Day.
“We’ve been in Kitimat now for just over three years, we decided it was time for a customer appreciation day. We’re going to have an annual customer appreciation day and it’s going to be a car show like this,” said Anne Stewart.
There were door prizes and other events. One was the root beer chugging contest. This was followed up by Motorcycle Mania in Terrace. On August 23rd, all the A&W’s across Canada will once again be Cruising for a Cause, raising money to battle Multi Sclerosis. Kitimat will be doing a jail and bail on that day.
“Thank you to all of our customers and thank you to the community of Kitimat for welcoming us and supporting us. We’ve really enjoyed it here. It has been a positive experience doing business in Kitimat,” said Stewart.
Mike Harris takes 1st in the Root Beer Chugging Contest.
