Kitimat Council meets tonight, Tuesday July 3rd for their Regular Meeting of Council. The meeting starts at 7:30 PM at the public safety building.
There are two presentations scheduled. The first is from Dana Amado and Darcie Reid. They will be presenting on the Bear Aware Program. Following them is Murray Minchin from Douglas Channel Watch presenting on the topic of the Provincial Government being an intervener.
There are three motions scheduled. The first is from Councillor Mario Feldhoff concerning the Airport Connector Bus Service. The second is in relation to Person’s with Disabilities from Councillor Corrine Scott. The final is an invitation to Shell Canada from Mayor Joanne Monaghan.
There are four reports. One is for a travel grant from the Kitimat Marlin Swim Club, the second concern an ATCO Trailer. There is a funding request for SNCIRE and an application for a Liquor Primary License.
There is one communication. It is from the Honourable Ida Chong and is about UBCM meetings with the Premiere.
