Alcan is moving ahead with phase three of their camp. At City Council on Monday, February 6th, Council approved a temporary building permit for the next phase of their construction village.
This phase will create 12 additional dormitories with room for 44 people each. It will increase the size of the camp by 528 people.
The motion was carried.
In addition, Shell Canada had a license and occupation for Harbour Road which would let them put up a sign along Haisla Boulevard. The motion was carried as well.
